A Culture of Safety:

  • Management Commitment: we view Health & Safety as a top priority. This starts with safety being part of initial job planning; and includes zero incidents being the only acceptable number.
  • Participation: Every Sheridan employee is responsible to ensure a safe work environment. We encourage active participation in designing and adapting policies. Then we all keep one another accountable.
  • Hazard and Risk Management: We use the latest software to conduct regular safety inspections, including Job Hazard Inspections. We document everything; then using analytics, we identify recommended improvements to our policies & practices
  • Education and Training: Consistent training and re-training, along with educational activities (such as tool box safety talks), are vital to ensuring safety stays top-of-mind
